Connecting to Brunel Shared (G) Drive (Microsoft Windows 10)

Note - To map to your G drive from home or off campus you will first need to install and run the AnyConnect VPN service, found under "My Apps"

  1. Head over to My Devices

        


  2. Click on Desktop & Laptops

  3. Click on whichever device you wish to use to access the network drives

  4. Click Connect To

        


  5. Click Brunel Files

        


  6. Open up File Explorer

  7. Look to the left hand side column and right click on Network then click on Map Network Drive.

        


  8. Change the drive to any suitable letter. For folder enter <<Login for this information>>

    If you have a J drive the path will be shown here: <<Login for this information>>


  9. Tick Connect using different credentials. Click Finish.

  10. Enter <<Login for this information>>\<<Login for this information>> as Username.

  11. Enter your password. Click OK.

  12. Click on This PC and you should be able to see the newly mapped network drive under Network Locations
